170 bhp available from BBR’s new ‘Super 170’ Starchip upgrade on both 120/145PS 2.0-litre Skyactive variants of Mazda modelsSuits Mazda 3 / 6/ CX-3 and CX-5 – new MK4/ND MX-5 upgrades nearing completionThe entry level ‘Super 170’ upgrade benefits from BBR’s renowned Starchip ECU software package, with revised fuel and ignition calibration designed to optimise performance across the rev range from 2,000 rpm right through to the 7,000 rpm limiter, whilst removing the electronic throttle restriction from the 120 PS version.
Post conversion, the realised gains from the 2.0-litre Skyactive-G engine are particularly noticeable from 4,000 rpm upwards, especially on the 120 PS variant – which recorded an unexpectedly healthy 136 bhp on BBR’s chassis dyno in standard tune – culminating in a peak output of 169.7 bhp at 6300rpm, a gain of 34 bhp.
Similarly torque increases are impressive throughout the rev range, culminating in a peak gain of 11 lb.ft and a total figure of 163 lb.ft at just 4250 rpm, making the Mazda 3 easier, faster and more exciting to drive.
Available now, the BBR Super 170 package is priced at £499.00 including installation. (A DIY version will be launched soon.)http://www.bbrgti.com/bbr-launches-185- ... iv-models/Allegato:

In pratica dice che la versione 120cv è limitata elettronicamente e che senza blocchi arriva e passa i 160cv circa.
Ma soprattutto, che la 120cv di serie ha circa 136cv
Che dite? Ne sapevate qualcosa?
