DESCRIPTION
Some vehicles may experience the symptoms mentioned below. Some of these concerns can be solved by the latest software update.
The software update procedure has been changed to improve proper function for MZD Connect.
SYMPTOMS
The following symptoms can be solved by the latest software (Ver.56.00.511) (Newly added)
For All models.
• Navigation loading screen keeps displaying.
• Clock is incorrect at engine start.
• External device cannot connect to the vehicle via Bluetooth.
• Vehicle current position is not accurate enough. (Further improvement.)
• When using the Connected Service, traffic information is not correct.
• When the language setting is changed, the system reboots.
(From previous) Except Mazda3(BM)
• Navigation or other screen freezes or is rebooted.
• Does not recognize USB/SD card.
• Vehicle current position is not accurate enough.
• Navigation turns to a black screen remaining the task bar.
• "Oil Change Due” message/"Wrench" symbol is irregularly displayed/illuminated even though the oil life is remaining (not 0%) displayed in the "Oil Change" tab in the center display.
SYMPTOMS
(From previous): For Mazda3 (BM)
----DISPLAY----
• The center display does not boot up with black screen.
• The center display may flicker while using WiFi connection.
• Blue screen may be displayed just after IG ACC/ON.
• Despite the Active Driving Display (ADD) is deactivated, it turns on when the engine is started after i-stop condition.
• Compass screen is displayed, even though a SD card is inserted
• Spelling of words displayed on the center display in languages other than English is incorrect.
----NAVIGATION, GPS----
• Navigation guidance is wrong taking a extreme long way, no road and/or on the sea route.
• Navigation operates incorrectly when Connected Service (Wifi) is used at the same time.
• Accuracy of estimated arrival time is low where GPS reception is weak.
• Vehicle marker deviates from the real position where GPS reception is weak.
• Distance indication by “feet” used in navigation system is not usual. (UK)
• Navigation system sound volume may not be changed.
• Navigation improper voice guidance (German)
• Navigation doesn't recognize current location
• Volume level of Navigation voice guidance cannot be turned to zero
• A message “Invalid SD card” appears on the center display while using Navigation.
• French pronunciation in voice guidance/wording of Navigation system is not appropriate.
• Invalid guidance due to losing of GPS signal
• Clock does not work during GPS reception.
----WARNING----
• Speed limit warning does not beep.
• MZD Settings "automatic door locking" only visible at the first time.
• A message “Charging System Malfunction” is displayed on the center display by mistake (no charging system warning light in the instrument cluster).
• Favorite settings are reset when CMU is reprogrammed. Favorites radio (AM/FM), Navi favorites location including Home, Bluetooth pairing setting, Sound adjustment, Route setting, Warning setting.
• Keyboard in Poland language has two “Y” keys.
• VR fails after contact import with Emoji in contact name
• Since after CMU SW25, TMC function can't be used
• Tense of German signature used in SMS is wrong
----AUDIO, Wifi, BLUETOOTH, PHONE and others----
• Fuel price obtained through Connected Service (Wifi) is not displayed or is incorrect (not updated).
• RDS(Radio Data System) text information does not change.
• Audio ouput even CMU shows MUTE display
• Radio screen is fuzzy and the commander switch doesn't operate
• USB device is rebooted with a specific music.
• Cannot make a call succesfuly using “Voice Recognition” in French.
• The Voice Recognition does not activate even when pressing the TALK button.
NOTE:
Mazda is working to make further improvements to the Mazda Connect Infotainment System software, and may issue future software updates to improve system operation and performance.
